Day 1 Extravagant
Took about 3 hours (was late at night so my brain kinda frazzled) using a blockout primitive technique, not sure thats best for speed sculpt practice though and i think for the other prompts i might try just dynameshing and exploring forms that way. Day 2: Rascal
I enjoyed this one, decided to do something cute, a kid mermaid with a squid who's a little nervous looking at what hes been drinking. I sorta have a time-lapse but my zbrush crashed. again i spent about 2 hours sculpting but alot longer posing and painting this, I think i need to try and sculpt some in pose though and just have fun with it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3QM967J88k
Day 3 Rockabilly I'm behind already because i made the mistake of falling in love with my sculpt and getting stuck on some techniques i was practicing. Day 4 - star wars. I decided to do Chewee as a mermaid. I couldn't get this done for may the 4th since i spent too long finishing off the rockabilly so this one is fairly simple, i spent longer than i thought on it though as I tried using dynamesh and i fell into the valley of suck with figuring out how i wanted to concept this. Day 6 - TacoTuesday (though ironically not on a tuesday for the challenge). Decided to do a clam as a taco, since taco tuesday seems to have the character shaped as a taco thought this would be cute!

Day 7 - Man Tom's prompts are weird. I never heard of aquabats but managed to put something together. I did a merman this time in their pose.

Day 8 - squid
I made a little cute squid for this one , not really a mermaid, hope thats still OK. Found a cool tutorial on how to make a bubble brush in Photoshop so did that (though it would be way better from Keyshot which sadly i dont own yet).

Bread coma is best coma :D. I had fun with this one doing fat folds and figuring out how to sculpt a fat lady. I think i spent too long on it though, sculpted maybe for 3 hours but then longer figuring out a pose for her.

Day 10 - Tropical
Concluded that some days you just hit the valley of suck and it can be tricky to get out of it. I struggled to do a heroic male blockout, i wanted to do my own concept (this is sometimes working for me but designing and sculpting in a speedsculpt is haaaard....well unless its random aliens). I went for aquaman with this one coz he's well 'kinda' tropical :)
Day 11 - stretch
I wanted to go simple with this one and didnt know what to do. Then I thought about a cat stretching and could do a purrmaid!

Day 12 - Mothersday
I decided after the valley of suck at the weekend to pick a concept this time. I found one i really liked of catwoman by an artist on instagram https://www.instagram.com/ashley24taylor/

Day 13 monday
I tackled this one not sure what to do and thought it might be an interesting take to show my mermaid in a giant coffee cup and still tired (kinda like me most mornings if i havnt slept from er sculpting late on challenges like this ^^).
Day 14 Hootenanny
This prompt stumped me a little but wanted something cute (its nice to alternate things a little). So I did an owl playing a little ukulele with his country gettup.
Day 15 - Nurse
This was one I saw a few people doing cartoon nurses (animaniacs was popular). I decided however to do something non stylized and horror genre. This is a mermaid version of the nurse from silent hill 2 :) I'd like to maybe push it further and fix the forms a little and also polypaint when i have time.
Day 16 - Jon Snow
I modelled this one in more than 3 hours, i got carried away trying to figure out a nice comp so i could put it online. Was worth it though as got featured on cgsociety. I used zmodeller for the throne, started out with a funko influence and gave him a face.
Day 17 Dinosaur
Wanted to combine a fish with a dino for this one so Triceratrout was born. I really enjoyed making the cuteness in the face for this one.
Day 22
Drummer. Been hard to find time now to do the sculpts, as real life takes priority and its hard to not want my speedsculpts for mermay be semi finished. I really had fun with fibermesh for this guy though by giving him a mohawk :)
Day 25 geek
Getting burnt out now, this is the last one i did for geek. I wanted to try and do a gamer but only did this in 3 hours, would have otherwise added more accessories for her. I think i found some improvement sculpting the female face though, just need more practice with hands.
